Willow City Loop Run - Blue Bonnet Drive

Join us as we cruise the Fredericksburg Hill Country to enjoy the scenic views and the Blue Bonnets in Bloom on Willow City Loop outside of Fredericksberg 

Meet up location for the AACC Willow City Loop Cruise will be
at the Lowes Parking lot at the Rim. We will meet up 
at 9:00am and depart at 9:30. We will travel up IH10 
turning left at Comfort towards Fredericksburg. We wll stop
at the LOVE gas station on the corner of IH10 and Hwy 87. 
We will stop there for about 20-30 minutes. We will then
head down Hwy 87 towards Fredericksburg. Once we hit downtown
main street, we will take a left, then a right onto Hwy 16 (N. Llano Street) out of
Fredericksburg. Proceed 13.3 miles, turn right on RR1323 - continue 2.79 miles to
Willow City, turn left onto Willow City Loop. This is a PRIVATE ranch road that winds
for 13 miles through rugged, awe inspiring Texas Hill Country and reconnects with 16. Turn right back to Fredericksburg. 

From there we will head to lunch at Backwoods BBQ (https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/backwoods-bbq-fredericksburg)

They are recommending we park towards the back where we should be able to fit all Corvettes 

Once lunch is done, you can hang around Fredericksburg or head back to San Antonio.

Time: 9:00 - Depart at 9:30

Leave Comfort (Love's Shell Gas Station 11:00) 43 US Highway 87 I-10 Exit 523, Comfort, TX 78013 
Arrive Fredricksburg: 11:30 
Tour Willow City loop: Approx 1 hour (12:30) 
Lunch at Backwoods BBQ: 1:00pm 320 Farm To Market Rd 2093 Fredericksburg, TX 78624

Remember to bring your cameras should you want to take pictures. 
Note: Although Willow City Loop is maintained by the county, ALL land along the Loop is privately owned. Please, be respectful of landowners along the Loop and do not block their driveways, or drive, walk or sit in their meadows or on the WILDFLOWERS, as this can damage, even kill the plants.
